Hey guys....

Well, I am alive after almost 2 weeks of work...I am tired, but alive. I made it through the biscuits...they turned out awesome...the yeast rolls I made today and they were good, rose good but I needed to make them bigger...you learn I guess...I think my boss chica is pleased with me though... So that's good. I am one tired mama though!!! My house looks a mess but I am trying to get all that taken care of cause I certainly don't want to let my home go. I need to manage time better so I can do all the things I like :)

I have been making a few things when I can find a moment! Above is my newest guy a tall scarecrow from my own pattern....I love his face! He is attached to a tall spool.....

First day of work and something new!!

This is my newest fall goodie! It is a old drawer that I added a bunch of pumpkins to. A big white one a big orange one and then 3 little orange punkins and 2 dark brown ones. I think it turned out really neat, it would be perfect on a table for the fall season right on up through November!
It is going on my LPS tonight!

I also started my first day of work and this is going to be fun! I work with the best girls who like to laugh and crack up with each other. My only concern is my actual job LOL I am the baker in the cafeteria, and I have to do biscuits and rolls FROM SCRATCH! Like 200 of them!! So pray for me :)
Once the girls get into school and there is a rhythm going I hope to be able to get to sewing again.

What... fall?

The fall season for us is here! (for now at least) Usually we don't see temps this low... 71...for awhile yet, but we've seen them this past few days. A cold front has moved over us and it feels just like fall. I am not ready LOL! Well, I am ready for fall... just not winter..let's put it that way. I stay cold it seems.

Tomorrow I start my new job at the school! We are going to be cleaning for the next 2 days to prepare for school to start on the 9th. I am excited and also very nervous! I haven't worked in almost 6 years! I have the baking position and we have to actually bake the bread from scratch recipe and I am NOT a bread baker...I have worries about this people!!!! I just hope and pray I do well. I lack confidence I think, I pray about that alot.

The girls start school on the 9th and I think they are ready, Jamie starts kindergarden and she is excited... I will get some pictures for sure!
I made a journal cover for myself but that's about it in the sewing department maybe I will get to it today!

Wow...still alive but very busy!

Although that isn't much of an excuse!! BUT... I have been really busy it seems like it's been something everyday which is a good thing! We have been at the pool, to the carnival, PA, and now I have been babysitting almost 2 weeks, I have also been cleaning vacation rentals, we have bought a Chincoteague pony which needs alot of time.

And to top it off I have gone ahead and gotten myself a job :) I start at the first of the month working in Jamie's school in the lunch room. It's actually a great opportunity for me to get out and make a little extra money..plus, Jamie goes to school with me and then I will pick her up. I should be home by 1:30. Perfect!
I have also managed to get a few things done crafting. I posted them on my other blog, my selling blog. The fall is my favorite to craft for......Here's a few pics...
I am free for the next few days so I will go and visit all my blogging buddies ( I hope they are still out there!!lol :)
